EN-14327 Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Client

Our client is a major operator and developer in the oil & gas industry.

Tasks
  • Support in the identification of greenfield sites with high photovoltaic potential and initiate contact to landowners, negotiate and sign lease agreements, support in legal due diligence if necessary.
  • Identification and qualification of brownfield projects for acquisition, negotiate contracts and support financing and legal due diligence if necessary.
  • Managing relationships with landowners, local authorities, utilities and regulators in close cooperation with other team members and/or if applicable coordinate co-developers in the process.
  • Coordinate and control the development process throughout its entire lifetime until RTB status under own responsibility or in cooperation with 3rd parties including all locally necessary evaluations, decisions and permits (e.g environmental decisions, connection conditions, building permits, operational permits et.).
  • Creation of technical project assessments in close collaboration with other teams (EPC and legal) and support in due diligence process.
  • Close collaboration with Country Manager, Site Manager, EPC and legal team.
  • Representing the Company at solar events, conferences and regulatory meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years experience in energy sector or project related environment.
  • Master's degree (technical or business).
  • Familiarity with the authorization process for zoning, environmental / building codes, and land / grid connection conditions.
  • Ability to assess energy projects from an economical and legal perspective.
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting, market analysis and gathering competitive intelligence, particularly M&A activity.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively approach stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
